Farm to ECE
Farm to Early Care and Education (ECE) is a movement to increase healthy and sustainable dietary practices during early childcare years (0-5yrs) by providing access to healthy food options and nutritional education to Head Start and early childhood centers.
The New Orleans Food Policy Council works at a local and statewide level to increase the Farm to ECE activities.

Louisiana Food Fellows
Are you looking to be a change agent in Louisiana's local food system? The Louisiana Food Fellows program will give you the resources, skills, and inspiration you need to be the next leader in your community's local food movement. National experts from across the country will lead workshops on a variety of topics, including an overview of the food system, food system's equity and justice, food policy, and determining what your role is in reshaping your community’s food system.

Eat Local NOLA
Eat Local New Orleans is a program that celebrates the rich bounty of our region’s food and drink. Through community events, workshops and partnerships, we connect residents and visitors to locally sourced food and beverages, strengthening the food system while highlighting New Orleans' unique cultural heritage.

Xavier University Food Advocacy Training & Education is a food policy leadership training program that develops leaders capable of guiding change within their communities and advocating for their food needs.

Greaux the Good
Greaux the Good, Louisiana's statewide nutrition incentive program, operated by Market Umbrella, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Greaux the Good gives Louisiana direct-to-consumer food purveyors (such as farmers markets, farm stands, and produce stands) the opportunity to create or expand a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) nutrition incentive program.
